Protecting the casing with independently developed fluororesin - Shields.

The Shields series uses proprietary fluorine-based additives and is a reaction-curing fluorine-based clear coat that excels in chemical resistance and dirt repellency.

The Shields series is a fluorine-based clear coat that excels in contamination/damage prevention and corrosion resistance. Thanks to the unique fluorine additive "Fluoripel," it effectively repels not only water but also oil. It is resistant to water-based and oil-based stains, making it easy to wipe off and highly resistant to contamination. This fluorine additive cures together with the paint, so even when wiped with chemicals, the fluorine components do not come off. As a result, it has very high chemical resistance to organic solvents, acids, and alkalis. With a primer-less (one coat) application, it offers high adhesion to various metals and resins. There are also products compatible with aluminum and SUS. The lineup includes options for tack-free time (touch dry) of 5 to 30 minutes at room temperature, as well as curing at 70 to 80°C and 120 to 150°C. We will propose a wide range of options tailored to the target object, painting method, and curing conditions.
